What is Paréa?
A live map of plans. Drop a pin for whatever you feel like doing — coffee, beach, billiards, padel, a day trip — and people nearby join in. You land in a group chat, sort out the details, and go.
Is it free?
Yes. Paréa is free — download it, set up your profile and go out. Optional extras may come later, but the core (map, plans, crews, chat) stays free.
Is it a dating app?
No. Paréa is about company — group activities, not dates. There's no swiping on faces: you find people through what you want to do, not how they look.
Is it safe to go out with people I don't know?
Safety comes first: verified profiles with a selfie check, plans in public places, groups (never 1-on-1 with strangers), and the exact spot is visible only to people who joined. Report/block is everywhere, and an "I'm here / I'm OK" check-in with a trusted contact is on the way.
How do I get verified?
A quick in-app selfie check confirms you are a real person matching your photos. Verified profiles get the ✔ badge, and plans can be set to accept verified people only.
How old do I need to be?
Sixteen and up. Your age is part of your profile, and plans involving drinks/bars are strictly 18+.
Where is it available?
We're starting in Athens and opening city by city — so the map is always alive, never empty. Thessaloniki and more cities follow. The app ships on iOS, Android and web.
Can everyone see my location?
No. Your location is never shown to others — only plan pins appear on the map, and with an approximate position until someone joins. The exact spot is revealed only to the plan's crew.
I run a venue — how do we partner?
We're looking for partner venues (cafés, bars, padel courts, boat trips) that want crews walking in. Email us at support@tryparea.com.
